Department of Research Specialist Services is a public institution that is mandated to do research covering all critical value chains save for a few value chains such as tobacco, piggery and sugarcane. The department has much interest in agricultural issues which give value to research initiatives especially targeting the disenfranchised groups of our farming communities. The idea is to open up to the world getting insights, lessons and ideas regarding critical areas of research to inform our future priorities.
