Contract farming workshop

Sponsored by APT and Fintrac, this workshop featured presenters from GRM (contract farming enabling environment), Northern Farming (business case for contract farming), Oenem Meat Products (improving smallholder productivity), IETC (effective training and extension), Agritex (case study of Agritex support for a chilli outgrower scheme in Nyanga) and Kurima Gold (input and credit recovery). Three working groups discussed and developed recommendations on enabling environment, productivity and recoveries.
